Characters of The Tensile Performances for the Woven Membrane Materials
This paper discussed the three characters on tensile behavior of the woven membrane materials, such as non-linear, anisotropic and inelastic. These tensile characters were derived mainly from the special composing of the basic woven fabric and the coating material. Most researchers studied the tensile behaviors of woven membrane materials under uni and bi-axial loads by any means. Simple and effective methods for the understanding of the tensile performance under special loads were presented. These methods would provide useful information for the application of the woven membrane materials on the lightweight structures. At the same time, the design of the tensile performance of the woven membrane materials would become possible.
