Characterization and Regression Equation Modelization for Pores of a Netty Structured Scaffold Reinforcement for Manmade Tendon

The pore size of manmade tendon scaffold has a greatinfluence on its mechanical properties. A netty flat fabric of the same structure with the reinforcing body of tendon scaffold was made using PET yarns and the pores was characterized via Matlab imagery, grid method on Photoshop and paperweighting method. A regression equation was modelized to reveal the relationship of the porosity and stitch parameters, which derived that the number of mesh pillars was linear correlation with the porosity.
