The Structure Design of Branch Endovascular Graft by Fluid Mechanics

Endevascular Graft Exclusion (EVGE) is a minimally invasive therapy for abdominal aortic and thoracic aneurysms in recent years. The advantages of an endovascular approach include decreased blood loss, length of hospitalization, and early morbidity and mortality. However, it is a difficulty to deal with the branch artery in the EVGE. In this paper energy loss theory of fluid mechanics was used and a model of vertical integration of endevascular graft with branch was presented based on the principle of minimum energy loss.
