Medical Health Care Functions of Pearl Fiber-the Feasibility and Advantages of Pearl Fiber Application on Sports Underwear
In recent years, many functional fabrics have been developed. Pearl fiber is a novel functional fiber which was invented and researched most in China. The pearl fiber has many health care functions, such as far infrared function, UV resistance function, antibacterial function, cosmetology and medicine function. Since the pearl fiber was invented, many patents and researches related to pearl fiber have been developed. Pearl fiber fabric can help prevent mammary gland disease because of far infrared function. Besides, the nutritional ingredients in pearl fiber fabric can be dissolved and absorbed by the human body during the process of exercising. In addition, pearl fiber fabric helps prevent skin diseases induced by too intensive ultraviolet radiation because of its excellent UV resistance function. Finally, pearl fiber also has qualified antibiotic function. Many researchers have discussed the advantages of pearl fiber application. This paper makes an overview on the current researches and achievements on pearl fiber and presents the feasibility and advantages of pearl fiber application on sports underwear because of its multi health care functions.
