Research on the Performance of Pearl Fiber Seamless Underwear
Nowadays more attention has been paid by medical and textile industries to the healthcare performance of underwear, which is considered to be the second skin of human. Whereas, pearl fiber, as a new material for medical textile, has the cosmetic and healing properties to some extent as pearl does. It is reasonable to assume that the seamless underwear combining pearl fiber will become a new healthcare product that connects cosmetic and healing properties with human minutely. In this paper, correlative physical performance and functionality of pearl fiber seamless underwear have been tested based on the R & D (research & development) of pearl fiber seamless underwear (including abrasion resistance, antistatic property, the emission of the far-infrared etc. ), combining with the experiments of clinical medicine, in order to evaluate its practical value. Meanwhile, the function of physical and healthcare performance performed by pearl fiber in seamless underwear is also discussed, in contrast with non-pearl fiber seamless underwear which is produced under the same physical parameters. This paper proposes a combination of traditional seamless underwear with pearl fiber along with its cosmetic and healing properties, aiming to provide technical support for the application of new materials in the garment medical industry.
