An Overview of Chaotic Sequence in Digital Watermarking

Chaotic sequence used in the digital watermarking has been extensively studied. This paper overviewed the application of chaotic sequence in the watermarking algorithms from four aspects: first, we concluded the application of the chaotic sequence in the robust watermarking algorithms, and we analyzed the chaotic watermark used in the fragile watermarking algorithms, then we introduced two generating models of the chaotic watermark for image authentication, finally, we concluded the construct principle of the chaotic watermark. Through the analysis of the existing watermarking algorithms using the chaotic sequence, we proposed some advices for the further study of the chaotic watermark.
