Theoretical Research on an Integrated Six-axis Accelerometer
A six-axis acceleration signal was acquired when assembled 6 accelerometers in the field of measurement, but the installation errors of accelerometers needed to be calibrated. So, the paper presented an integrated six-axis accelerometer used parallel mechanism as the structure of sensing element, specifically deduced the expression of relationship between six-axis acceleration vector and strains of elastic legs, and analyzed the factors affecting sensing circuit. Finally, FEM simulation experimental results show the six-axis accelerometer for humanoid robot wrist has good dynamic characteristic.
