Design of Pulse-phase Laser Range Finder Based on DSP

摘要：

The pulse-phase laser range finder has advantages of high precision and long detects range. In this paper, a pulse phase laser range finder system which based on DSP and Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) technologies was designed. This system used the DSP chip TMS320VC5402 as core to realize system control, digital phase discrimination and data processing. It used DDS technology to produce high stability measurement signals, used pulse counter to realize rough measurement and used the DSP to do the digital phase discrimination to realize the precise measurement As a result, it improved the precision and reliability of the distance measurement.
