Study on Dual Sources Interference to Monopulse Radar
The dual sources interference is an effective means of counteracting monopulse radar. Based on the analysis of the principle of angle tracking system of monopulse radar, the angle measure model for two targets within the same beam is set up. The effects of dual sources interference to monopulse radar and the principle that radar distinguishes between two targets are analyzed by simulation. The simulation result indicates that the radar antenna will track the energy center of dual source when △θ, the angle between dual source directions, is very small, and that the antenna will deviate from the energy center as △θ increasing and track the target whose energy is larger than the other one.
