Thickness Measurement of Cable Sheath Material Using an improved Sub-pixel Method
Sub-pixel positioning is one of the key technologies of the image measurement technology for geometry measuring field, to achieve target positioning better than entire pixel accuracy. Propose an improved Sobel edge detection interpolation, and apply to the image measurement system of cable sheath materials thickness, make edge coordinates after the sub-pixel positioning more realistic boundary conditions, make up for a shortcoming of the ordinary polynomial interpolation for sub-pixel positioning method lost direction information of the edge-point caused a decline in accuracy, achieve precise and rapid measurement.
