Early Fire Detection in Large Space Based on Image Processing Technology
The effective detection of early fire in large space has a very important effect on the security of human life and property. Applied the dynamic characteristics of the burning fire, the flame area from the video images was effectively detected and extracted adopting symmetric difference method between three contiguous frames of images combined with the adaptive threshold. At the same time, the simulation results based on the Matlab kits indicate that this kind of algorithm has good effectiveness and strong robustness. The relevant result can be the basic of the subsequent extraction and analysis of the fire image features as well as the space positioning of the fire.
