Research for Noise Reduction Technique of the Failure Signals of the Rotary Machine Based on Wavelet Theory

For the noise interference existing widely in the failure signals of rotation machinery, the noise reduction process is implemented with failure signals based on the theory of wavelet analysis. The fundamental principles of Donoho algorithms are briefly described. The threshold values of the Donoho algorithms are improved. The new algorithms of the threshold values are realized with Matlab language. Experimental verification is carried out with industrial field data, and the results of the experimental verification indicate that the noise reduction process for the failure signals of rotation machinery can be implemented effectively by the noise reduction process of the new threshold function. Compared with the conventional method of threshold values, the noise reduction effect of new threshold function is much better.
