Design and Realization of Zero Frequency Reject in High Performance Receiver

This paper discusses the LO feedthroughs impact on receivers specifications and the necessary of zero frequency reject firstly, then presents a method of zero reject based on amplitude and phase adjustment controlled by main processor. The sampling signals amplitude is changed by voltage variable attenuator and the phase is adjusted by varying the inverse voltage applied to the voltage variable capacitor diodes which connect to Lange Couplers couple ports. The method is proved to have characteristics such as high reject capability, small volume, reliable etc.
