Research of Passive Efficiency Calibration Method and Software Development Based on HPGe γ Spectrometer
Based on a set of low background HPGe γ spectrometer, this paper employs Monte Carlo method to investigate passive efficiency calibration method, and a set of passive efficiency software which is suitable for HPGe γ spectrometer of same coaxial type has been developed, scale of energy calibration is 0-10 Mev. MCNP transport comparison and experimental confirmation have been done to evaluate results of passive efficiency calibration. Research shows that the calibration results of passive efficiency calibration software are accurate and reliable, which exhibit relatively highly practical value.
