Laser Diode Bar Collimated by Vertical Double Half-cylindrical Lens Combination
In order to improve the collimation of laser diode bar which works in the laser detection and the laser ranging, this paper provides a method to designs the primary collimation which uses vertical double halfcylindrical lens combination, it is an impartment part of the tens combination for collimation. Using ray-tracing method and Matlab to analyze the transmission of the beam, and then analyze the optical transmission by sequential tracing and nonsequential tracing by Zemax-EE, at last we get the laser spot which is close to rectangle, and the divergence angle is about 14mrad.
