Virtual Instrument for Steam Two-parameter Measurement Based on Orifice Plate Differential Pressure Noise
Based on the two-parameter measurement theory of twophase flow by orifice plate differential pressure noise, use the smart differential pressure and pressure transmitters, developed a virtual instrument for saturated steam mass flow rate and dryness measurement. By using alternating acquisition process between differential pressure and pressure signals, the high-speed data acquisition was ensured. The calculation function of cumulative mass flow was achieved by using the computer clock. While a data was acquired, a calculation step was completed, so the data processing is more efficient. The instrument can be used for two-parameter measurement of saturated wet steam in heavy oil thermal recovery and such that other industries.
