Chemical Reactions of O_2/N_2 Mixture gas in a DBD Reactor
Through establishing the test system of dielectric barrier discharge type non-thermal plasma reactor, using Q-V Lissajous figure to measure its electrical parameters; Experiments were carried out to study the effects of applied voltage peak value, power and electric field on the concentration of ozone and nitrogen oxides from the N_2/O_2 mixture gas. The results showed that high energy electron could break molecular bond of O_2 and N_2. ozone and nitrogen oxides were produced, their concentration increased to the highest level and then decreased with the increase of V_p, they increased with the increase of oxygen initial concentration in the N_2/O_2 mixture gas.
