Optical Grating Fiber Sensing Technology be Used in Landslide Monitoring
According to the property that the average refractive index and the grid period of the fiber grating are sensitive of the environment parameter, the environment parameter is changed with the drift of Bragg wavelength, and the environment parameter will be demodulated through the drift of Bragg wavelength. We used wavelength demodulation technology to develop the instrument of the wavelength demodulation for fiber Bragg grating, and used LabVIEW to design the system of wavelength demodulation for fiber Bragg grating. We discussed the mounting method of the optical fiber sensor and the calculate method that how to eliminate temperature influence in the strain wavelength. Finally we given some application examples about the optical fiber sensing technology was used in geological hazards. As a result, it is suited that the optical fiber sensing technology was used in the strain fissures.
