Fault Simulation System Based on Virtual Prototype for Large Caliber Guns
Fault simulation is the key technology to improve the reliability and safety of large-caliber guns. A new kind of fault simulation method for large-caliber guns based on ADAMS (Automatic Dynamic Analysis Mechanical System) is put forward. The establishment of virtual prototype for large caliber guns is illustrated in detail and a simulation example is given to demonstrate the simulation process. An expert system works as the main controller, provide candidate fault set, start or stop virtual prototype. Virtual prototype based on ADAMS can simulate various working conditions in future training or battle tasks, confirm the actual faults and find out the corresponding fault reasons and components.
