Study on transverse motion in vibration shaker for accelerometer transverse sensitivity measuring
The transverse motion in vibration shaker is a main factor that influences the calibrating accuracy of accelerometer transverse sensitivity. In this paper, a vibration shaker based on slider-crank mechanism for accelerometer transverse sensitivity testing is proposed. Main reasons of transverse motion in the vibration shaker are discussed. Through analysing the influence of the dynamic responses of the guide rail on the transverse motion, a rational technology and design proposal are provided for designing vibration shaker to reduce the transverse motion.
