A TRIZ Based Eco-innovative Design Method for Energy Saving Products

This paper presents eco-innovative design methods to help designem developing energy saving products. In this paper,Current innovative energy saving products or technologies is searched as design cases. Design cases are analyzed to identify which TRIZ inventive principles they might use.An energy innovation & saving technology table is developed to match the design cases with innovative principles.Therefore, the designers using TRIZ innovative pnnciples for their energy saving innovative design task will have some specific ideas of what to do.Three design methods are proposed based on this energy innovation & saving technology table.The first design method uses the rule of single parameter to help designem focus on products improving aspects (mainly on energy saving technology).and provides some suitable inventive principles.The second design method uses a matching table between energy generated and energy consumption.This table of energy generated and energy consumption compares different power that the products need and energy sources can generate,and sees if there is any applicable innovative product idea.The third design method uses the rules of evolution and the ideal final result to help designem predict the developing direction of novel energy saving products in the future.
