Reliability analysis on industrial synergistic systems-Lagny-sur-Marne as a case study

This study presents a probabilistic-based methodology to assess the reliability of companies before and after by-product synergy is set up for the strategic purposes of industrial ecology.Failure events of any company inside the synergistic system would cause different degree of synergy failure and might impose resource shortages to the recipient companies.Thus, this study takes into account the failure rate,stock management,outsourcing strategy etc of each company in the dynamic stock simulation to evaluate the reliability of the companies affected by synergistic flows.The French industrial site of Lagny-sur-Mame is used as a case study.
