A Cladistic and TRIZ-based Approach for Enhancing Decision Making in Technology and Innovation Management
An adequate technology and innovation management contributes to the future viability of enterprises in a fundamental manner.The systematic and successful fulfillment of the related tasks requires the application of appropriate methods.This paper introduces an approach to identify trends and important (technology) fields for future research.to anticipate relevance of future design alternatives,to generate new product variants,to detect potential scopes for design activities,etc.Therefore,the cladistic approach for visualizing and analyzing the evolutionary development of systems and the TRIZ approach with its evolutionary rules are combined.Additionally,ecological aspects are added to the evolutionary path using a Streamlined LCA approach.A case study about computer mice demonstrates the application of the approach.
