Optimal Disassembly and Recycling Process for EOL Electronic Products under Bi-criteria
In addition to recycling rates requested by WEEE, manufacturers and recyclers are also concerned about performances in economic and environment aspects.This study proposes a heuristic method to find optimal disassembly and recycling process for end-oflife electrical and electronic products with simultaneous consideration of minimizing cost and environmental impact.The proposed method uses characteristics of products recycling to provide a fast evaluation method so that Pareto solutions could be found efficiently.Compromise programming method is used to find optimal process for the bi-criteria problem.Notebook computer is taken as an illustrative example to demonstrate the proposed solution process.
