A review of sustainable manufacturing measurement from product life cycle perspective

Sustainable development has been put forth as an important task for the 21st Century，and a key aspect is consideration of ecological，social，and economicpillars.Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) has obtained a widespread use for decision support in manufacturing enterprises，but traditional LCA only considers environmental impacts，which fails to efficiently address possible trade-offs between environmental protection and both social and economic concerns.However，several approaches have been developed to integrate social and economic aspects into LCA.This paper reviewed and highlighted some of the current methodologies and tools in LCA，Social LCA (SLCA)，and Life Cycle Costing (LCC).
