A Relevance Analysis Method to find Conflicts between Events Related to Sustainability
It is necessary to eliminate conflict between manufacturing activities and the environmental concerns toward constructing sustainable society.For this purpose，it is very important to clarify the relationships among various events related to sustainability and to find the conflict existing beyond the research fields. Although all the events strongly related each other do not come up against conflicts，they would be candidates of conflicts among enormous amount of relationship beyond various fields.In this research， we propose a method for quantitying the relational strength between two events related to sustainabuity by using their frequency of conjunction in newspaper articles.Based on the results，the current status of sustainability is presented using multidimensional scaling (MDS) to visualize the data.We have also developed a tool for analyzing the relation between each event in detail.
