Distributed Modeling of Diffuse Solar Radiation over Rugged Terrain of the Huaihe River Basin
Considering the influence of sky factors (atmosphere) and ground faetors(maerogeography and local topography factors) on diffuse solar radiation (DSR), Using the extraterrestrial solar radiation model and the terrain openness model, found on DEM data, simulated by routine meteorological observation data, a distributed model of Huaihe River Basin’s DSR over rugged terrains is developed, monthly DSR with a resolution of 100m×100m is calculated. Results suggest that:(1) DSR has a progressive decreasing trend form from the northwest, to the northeast and southeast;(2) the order of seasonal DSR is summer >spring>autumn>winter;(3) the maximum (minimum)of DSR is lie in the open areas(shading areas).
