A 3-order Newton-like Iteration Method

摘要：

A Newton-like iteration method was proposed to solve nonlinear equation. An analysis of local convergence was carried out that this new method has 3-order local convergence rate for the single root of nonlinear equation for any initial value near to the single root enough and has the same order local convergence rate with Newton-Raphson method.
