Color Image Encryption based on Chaos and Shift

This paper puts forward a new kind of color image encryption algorithm based on chaos and shift. First, the XOR operation is conducted between the R, G, B components of the plain image and three-dimensional chaotic sequences, thus completing the image pre-processing. Then, the eight binary numbers of each pixel is evenly divided into four parts, and conducts the shift operation with the improved three-dimensional chaotic sequences, which changes the distribution and the value of the pixei gray. The experimental results show that this algorithm enjoys a large key space and good effect of encryption, and moreover, it is sensitive to secret keys and highly safe.
