Research on Face Detection Method in a Complex Background

摘要：

In this paper, we propose a complete face detection system adapted to the complex circumstances. The system divides the face detection into two parts: the face candidate region detection and the face region verification. A contour-based face detection method is proposed for the face candidate region detection. The results of experiments show that the detection rate, detection speed and robustness have been improved with this method. This paper puts forward a verifying method according to face details in the face verification, and it improves the accuracy of face verification.
