An Approach of Spectra Estimation for Irregularly Sampled Signals
Spectra estimation of irregularly sampled signals is an important issue in time series analysis. To improve spectral resolution of irregular sampling signals, this paper presents a suppression algorithm of frequency spectrum leakage for non uniform Discrete Fourier Transform (NDFT). The DFT computation of irregularly sampled signals is performed via iterative non-linear estimation. Actual computing results show that the approach can effectively suppress frequency spectrum leakage in NDFT results, improve the resolution of DFT spectra.
