3D Reconstruction Based on Stereovision
3D reconstruction is one of the most popular research areas in computer vision and is widely used in many fields, such as video games, and animation. 3D reconstruction obtains 3D information based on 2D images. 3D space includes more information than 2D space, and can be accepted intuitively and globally. We can implement the scene recurrence using this technology, observe the model from any viewpoint stereoscopically, and perceive the world well. In this paper, we implement reconstruction based on the images taken from different viewpoints and use the results in our lab’s platform for virtual scene building. We also use a lot of technologies, such as point cloud building and surface reconstruction. This research proves that this solution plan has some advantages, such as feasibility, and easy reconstruction.
