ECG Denoising with Java-Based Wavelet Transform
The electrocardiogram (ECG) signal is a kind of important physiological signal, which records the activity of heart and is used in clinical analysis and diagnosis. Before analyzing the ECG signal, you must remove all kinds of the noise in the ECG signal In order to remove all kinds of noise, we can use a digital filtering approach. In recent years, many wavelet transform methods are used in the denoising of ECG signal, and many studies use MATLAB software. Java is a simple, object-oriented and high performance program language. We present a JAVA-based wavelet transform method and experiments on denoising of the ECG signal. It is a practical application and not only for research.
