Analysis of Voltage Flicker Signal Based on Wavelet Transform
Accurate analysis has important significance to monitor and control voltage flicker efficiently. As voltage flicker is a non-stationary signal, this paper presents a novel analyzing method based on wavelet transform. By wavelet multi-resolution analysis, the flicker envelope can be extracted and the noise contained in the voltage flicker can be filtered. The amplitude, frequency and the starting and ending time of the modulation signal can be calcniated precisely based on the analysis of wavelet modulus maxima. Simulation and application show that the method proposed by this paper is very suitable to analyze the non-stationary voltage flicker signal and can be applied to developing flickermeters.
