Enhancement of Motor Infrared Image Based on Wavelet Transform and Weighted Filtering
A motor runs abnormally as a result of a temperature change. Gray values of infrared image’s pixel points reflect the object’s relative temperature level. Using the luminance variation of motor infrared image to measure infrared image’s temperature of motor is a good diagnosis method, but an infrared image has low contrast, and serious noise. Ordinary enhancement method algorithms each have limitations. Wavelet and weighted filtering was proposed. This algorithm could retain high and low frequency well. The results show that: this enhance algorithm has excellent image enhancing and visual effect effectively.
