Study on Irregularly Spaced Frequency Waveform
The ACF sidelobes could be reduced by shaping the power spectrum of radar signals. Based on this principle, several kinds of low ACF sidelobes of pulse trains with irregularly spaced frequency have been proposed in recent years. However, there is no general approach for choosing the interpulse frequency intervals. A novel and concise method is given to compute the irregularly spaced frequencies by dividing a certain weighting window function’s power spectrum into equal area. In this way, low sidelobes of pulse trains can be achieved without incurring the SNR loss.
