Endowed with the nourishment by such bountiful earth, the furniture culture of Ming & Qing dynasties also saw a prosperous development and nurtured unique aesthetic traditions and spice. This paper will discourse on the cultural phenomena contained in the furnishings of Ming & Qing dynasties with some concrete objects and give a further discussion on its impact on western and modern Chinese furnishings.
