Forming Simulation System of 3-roll Continual Tube Rolling PQF Based on Finite Element Method
Based on the characteristics of the PQF deformation process, a thermal-mechanical coupled model of this process is established by the three-dimensional elastoplastic finite element method, and the visual simulation software of this process is generated with Visual Basic. Some important parameters such as the finished size of the rolled product, the temperature distribution of the tube, the rolling force of each roller are predict by utilizing this program. Comparison between simulation solutions and experiment results shows a good agreement, which means that the visual simulation software is capable of simulating PQF deformation process as well as forecasting product quality.
