Research on Series K Criterion of Concrete Fracture Based on numerical simulation

Finite element numerical simulation experiment is applicable to the research on macro-mechanical properties of materials. The ascend part of the load versus loading point displacement curves of a series concrete fracture destructive tests are obtained by simulating the loading process of this series tests. Based on the linear asymptotic superposition assumption, the critical effective crack length of the specimen at the time of unstable fracture is calculated by analyzing these curves. The effective fracture toughness considering the impact of fracture process zone is calculated by inserting the maximum load and the critical effective crack length into a formula developed from LEFM. In the end, the series of concrete fracture K criterion considering the influence of fracture process zone are established by analyzing the results of effective fracture toughness of the series test.
