Some Issues on the Boundary Element Method for Inhomogeneous Media
This paper mainly presents the authors some previous researches about the application of the boundary element method in inhomogeneous media. The boundary-domain integral equation for generalized heterogeneous media and the single-domain boundary integral equation for special heterogeneous media in which the same Possions ratios of the inclusions and the matrix are assumed are introduced, respectively. Some examples such as rolling contact and the interaction between inclusions and cracks are shown.
