Chance and Challenge in Offshore Wind Farm Development and Its Solutions in China

摘要：

Based on the state of the art of the construction technology of ocean engineering,the chances and challenges in offshore wind farm development in China are discussed and the problems of the design and construction of offshore wind turbine structures and its solutions are analyzed.Furthermore,new types of offshore wind turbine structures are proposed in the paper. Analysis shows that not only the costs of the structures proposed in the paper are lower than that of the current offshore wind turbine structures in same water depth,but also the applicable water depth of these structures are extended.The construction of these structures corresponds with current technologies and capabilities of ocean engineering in China.
