Electro-hydraulic control systems for mobile machinery with low energy consumption
The paper deals with the development of electrohydraulic Load-Sensing Systems for construction machines which have the potential to run in a fully automated excavator. They combine the robustness and effective pricing of hydraulic-mechanical LoadSensing with the high efficiency and good controllability of electro-hydraulic control systems. The new systems reduce the energy consumption of excavators in typical load cycles by about 11%. The enlargement to dual circuit systems increases the savings. The electronic control enables the possibility for closed loop controls to reach a high accuracy when running automated trajectories.
