Error analysis and forecasting compensation on hydraulic lifting and moving rail equipment test bench

The position control of hydraulic lifting and moving rail equipment test bench is utilized to control the loading position of the loading plate. Because of the large output pressure of the hydraulic system, the position control is a nonlinear and time variation. An electro-hydraulic proportional valve was used in hydraulic circuit for switching in this control. There was a large position error in the position control experiments, which is about 2.2mm beyond the limit of 0.2mm, and it could not meet the measuring range. According to the system position control and the analysis of error, the errors derive from the electro-hydraulic proportional valve. The forecasting compensation was used to improve the precision of position control system. A mount of position error data was got, and was processed by forecasting setting. Furthermore, an error forecasting function was established. Experiments show that the precision of position servo control system is dramatically improved, and the detection precision is less than 0.2 mm. which is in the range of plunger stroke.
