Research on variable frequency compound hydraulic speed control system with high moment of inertia

A new compound system which conbine variable frequency hydraulic speed control system with throttle speed control was presented in the paper in order to solve the speed control problem of pumpcontrolled motor system with high power, high moment of inertia and time varying load. The paper established a test system and its PLC control system, achieved its data acquisition and state monitoring based on LabVIWE platform. In fourth and fifth sections, the system mathematic model and simulation model were set up and the systematic dynamic performances were simulated by Simulink toolbox of Matlab. Sixth section shown some experimental results. The results of simulations and experiment indicate that the throttle speed control in the compound system has the function of improving the lower speed stability. The presented compound speed control system can track the input signals accurately. It also has higher adaptability and is robust to the varying load and high moment of inertia.
