The physical emulation research on microgravity environment basing on the air ball bearing
To simulate the microgravity environment of the outer space, the research methods by using three-axis airbearing based platform has been studied. This essay introduces the construction and working principle of three-axis air-bearing based platform, and sets up the dynamics model. To adjust the unbalancing torque, the gravity unbalancing torque calculating method basing on the dynamics inversion. From practical adjustment, rough balance transfer based on compound pendulum has been brought up, and then the automatical balancing adjustment method is put forward. The emulation and the results of the experience show that the method can reduce gravity unbalancing torque, and make the dynamics environment of the three-axis air-bearing based platform be close to the microgravity environment.
