The velocity feed-forward and compensation on eliminating extraneous torque of electro-hydraulic load simulator
The level of eliminating extraneous torque is a key performance of Electro-hydraulic load simulator (EHLS). Using velocity synchronizing control based on the control signal of actuator worked very well in the past. But getting actuators control signal becomes more and more impossible due to the development of actuators control scheme and structure, especially the development of electromechanical actuator. This paper provided a thorough analysis on detail mathematical model, factors which cause extraneous torque, the typical synchronizing control method and its limitations, then provided a new control strategy using velocity feed-forward control aided with synchronizing error compensation. Simulation results show that the new control strategy not only works well for synchronizing control, but reveals excellent.
