A new flight simulator driven by pneumatic artificial muscles
This paper proposes a novel flight simulator, which is driven by four pneumatic artificial muscles (PAMs) with multi-degree of freedom. Firstly, the structure and components of the flight simulator are described. Secondly, the control system and its schemes are introduced. Finally, experimental results are obtained to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed controller. The results indicate that the flight simulator with the presented controller achieves good control accuracy.
