Simulation of controllable pressure-clearance characteristic of a high pressure pneumatic chamber

A single stage proportional slide valve with two throttles was designed for big-range pressure control on a fixed volume pneumatic chamber with exhaust clearance. Simulation model based on SimulationX was built up to research the relationship between controllable pressure and exhaust clearance of the chamber as well as fit clearance of the slide valve. The influence of clearances on controllable pressure was analyzed, curves of controllable pressure and clearances were also generated. Results show that both clearances influence on minimum controllable pressure a lot, while only exhaust clearance of the chamber influences on maximum controllable pressure.
