Numerical study on temperature field and spool deformation of throttle slide valve with v-notches
The numerical fluid-solid coupling method is used to simulate the temperature field and spool radial deformation of the valve with V-notches. The relationships among structural parameters, work pressure drop and temperature field, as well as spool deformation are studied. Viscous heating effect of the flow inside the valve is an important source of the temperature increment, and spool deformation caused by hydraulic oil heating could result in spool stick. The numerical results show that notch structural parameters together with work pressure drop are important influential factors for the temperature distribution inside the valve. And spool temperature field has direct influence on radial deformation distribution of the spool.
