Research on dynamic frequency sweeping system of hydraulic AGC in temper mill based on virtual instrument

In order to test the frequency response of hydraulic AGC system in temper mill, a frequency sweeping system which based on virtual instrument software workbench and PCI bus high speed data acquisition card is advanced. The characteristic of frequency sweeping is analyzed, and the frequency response testing procedure is introduced, the key technique is also settled including how to continuously acquire and generate data at the same time, synchronized with one another. Test results indicate that hardware resources can get full use by this system. It is capable of accurate frequency characteristic measurement for hydraulic AGC system frequency response testing, so it enhances the measurement ability with precise and reliable results.
